ABOUT

What are we?


The Association for Computing Machinery is an international learned society for computing. It was founded in 1947, and is the world's largest scientific and educational computing society. The ACM is a non-profit professional membership group, claiming nearly 100,000 student and professional members as of 2019.



What we do?


PES MCOE ACM Student Chapter brings together 4 self-functioning forums of college namely, ML Forum, IOT Forum, Coding Club and Cyber Cell , to provide students unique opportunities for networking, mentoring and bonding over common interests by offering a range of resources and benefits for students to help them shape the future of computing.



EVENTS


INVICTA

ACM Student Chapter of PES MCOE established in 2018 has its yearly event namely 'INVICTA' that intends to boost technical as well as managerial skills by organising a number of technical activities including competions, various seminars, guest lectures, technical events, etc. for its members and coordinators.

Its a Competitive Coding Competition which consits of two rounds.

HACK FORGE

A 12 hour Hackathon!

A Team event where you have to select a problem statement from 3 domains IoT , Web , App and code for 12 hours!

FLIP FLOP

Semi-Technical Team Event

A memory based game where teams have to score highest points by getting maximum number of pairs of code and output in minimum span.

BUGGY THE CLOWN

Technical Team Event

A Team Event (4 members) in which you have to find the bugs from given lines of code. The team which finds maximum bugs in less time wins.

PITCHER'S DEN

Technical Team Event

It is a platform where you can come up with your thoughts, ideas, projects, products, etc and pitch to our Sponsors!

TRIVIA LOGO

Non-Technical Event

It consits of two rounds, the Logo Quiz round and the to guess the Gibberish round. The player with the maximum correct answers wins!

BINGO

Non-Technical Event

A set of n tasks will be given. When you finish a task you tick that on the bingo card.
